How we sterilize our bandages — and why it matters.

Most bandages are sterilized using ethylene oxide, a toxic gas that’s effective — but comes with real downsides. It’s harmful to the environment, and can leave chemical residue behind on products that go directly on your child’s skin.

We do it differently. Our bandages are sterilized using electron beam (e-beam) technology — a clean, gas-free process that uses focused electron energy instead of chemicals. No toxic gas ever touches our products, our packaging, or the environment. And it’s all done right here in the USA.

Bottom line: the same medical-grade sterility, without the chemical trade-off.
